Birmingham Personal Licence Course

Course details

This is a one-day licensing law course at the Jurys Inn Hotel in Birmingham for the qualification known as the Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) level 2.

Course duration is from 9 am until 5 pm with a 40 question multiple choice examination paper at the end of the days training. The pass mark is 70% and there is a time limit of 40 minutes.

 

Certification is awarded by BIIAB

About the location

Our Birmingham training venue is ideally located at Jurys Inn Hotel on Broad Street which is close to some of Birmingham's main attractions including Brindley Place, National Indoor Arena, Sea Life Centre, Symphony Hall and the International Convention Centre. Because of the major attractions, there is ample car parking in the area and the closest car park is Q Park at Brindley Place.

Birmingham has a fantastic public transport next work and the nearest train station is Birmingham New Street which is 15 minutes walk away or a short taxi ride.

We also have several other training locations across the West Midlands to undertake APLH personal licence courses.

Full Licence Package

If you would like us to take care of your full personal licence application including your DBS check, personal licence application to the Licensing Authority then just select our full licence package when selecting you APLH level 2 course date.

A full personal licence will allow the holder to sell or authorise sales of alcohol under a premise licence or temporary event notice. It will also allow the holder to become the acting Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) of licensed premises such as a pub, restaurant, shop, supermarket, off-licence or other such premises.

Due to the importance of this document, we will send your OFQUAL accredited training certificate to you via Royal Mail immediately upon receipt.

Option: 2

Our certificate only package

This option is for people who either only need to do the training or are going to process their licence application themselves.
It includes an APLH course handbook, training day at one of our professional venues, multiple choice exam and the APLH level 2 certificate upon successful completion of the exam.

 

All of our APLH level 2 certificates are awarded by BIIAB
Due to the importance of this document, we will send your OFQUAL accredited training certificate to you via Royal Mail immediately upon receipt.
