Disclaimer Notice to Employers

Paying for an employees personal licence
Some Employer's may pay for staff personal licence training and examinations, they may also pay for their staff member/s personal licence to be processed. This is a contractual arrangement between you the Employer and your member of staff the Employee.

Notice for employers
A personal licence issued for the sale of alcohol which has been paid for by the employer by law is personal to that employee. The certificate of training is also the property of the employee not the employer. Any disputes arising after the issue of the personal licence and/or the certificate are a civil matter and are not the responsibility of Personal Licence Training Ltd.  CRB checks and personal licence files are also protected under the Data Protection Act and at no time will any personal information be divulged to an employer.


Refunds

At no time will Personal Licence Training Limited issue any refunds for any ex-employees, or issue any refund should any work have been carried out on behalf of a client.

General Terms and conditions

Payment

Payment is to be made in full before commencement of ALL courses. Any additional expenses incurred by our Trainer (e.g. for on-site courses) will be invoiced after the course.

Where a training course is offered at a discount from our list price, the discounted price offered is subject to payment with booking and availability of places.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Cheque or Bank Transfer. Cheques are payable to Personal Licence Training Limited (on the reverse list delegates name/s and date of course). Bank transfer details available on request.

Confirmation of booking

Once payment is received in full. Personal Licence Training Limited or one of it's associates or representatives will forward confirmation of your course reservation, which will include the course material and directions to the training venue.

Cancellation and change of date

If an individual candidate is unable to attend the scheduled course date, the candidate should notify Personal Licence Training Limited

 at least 24 hours in advance. If they do so, Personal Licence Training Limited

 will agree an alternative course date with the candidate for any course date in the next 6 months, subject to availability and to the payment of an administration charge (currently £15.00 – payable at time of amendment).

Where a candidate fails to notify Personal Licence Training Limited

 of their inability to attend their confirmed course date. Then a new booking will have to be made, this may incur a re-booking fee of £50.00 plus VAT. Where the candidate fails to contact us within 4 weeks of the original confirmed course date, then any re-booking after that date will be treated as a new booking and shall attract the full course fee in force at that time.

Personal Licence Training Limited operates a no-refund policy in respect of the cancellation of individual course bookings.

If a course is run exclusively for a corporate customer - at Personal Licence Training Limited 

Head office, on a customer site or any other alternative venue - the same no-refund terms apply in the event of cancellation, but an alternative course date can be arranged by agreement.

In the event that it is necessary for Personal Licence Training Limited to cancel or reschedule a course, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 7 days notice. In such circumstances a full refund will be made, or alternative dates will be made available and all liability by Personal Licence Training Limited will be limited to the value of the original course fee.

Hearings and premises licence applications
An addition fee may be charged for one of are consultants to attend a hearing on behalf of the client in respect of a premises licence application. In some cases additional out of pocket expenses maybe incurred for travel or over night stays in hotels. All clients will be informed of any additional expense prior to a licensing committee hearing.

Planning Permission
If we have not been instructed to seek planning approval for a licensed premises application. Then we can not be held accountable for any planning restrictions or government's. All clients are requested to ensure all licensed premises have in place the required planning consent.
