A personal licence enables an individual to make retail sales of alcohol under the authority of a premises licence, it will also allow the person to become the DPS (Designated Premises Supervisor) of those premises and to authorise others retailing alcohol.

Step 2: Once you have completed your training, apply for a CRB/DBS check, when you have received both certificates you will need to complete an application form and send together with said certificates, 2 x endorsed colour passport photos and relevant identification to your local licensing authority (where you reside).
