From time to time, we decide to make alterations to our properties where we will require Planning Consent and Building Regulations for these works. Planning is usually applied for by means of existing and proposed drawing and the relevant forms being submitted to the Local Authority Some residential alteration works will not require planning consent, these are known as permitted developments and if you works fall into this category it can save you both time and money. If this sounds confusing, it is because the law relating to planning matters is complicated and you invariably need a professional advisor to guide you through the process.
